Infiniti Symbol

Added Pics

Anyone know how the Infiniti symbol is attached to the engine cover? Glue or what? Ok so I heated it with a gun and removed it . I painted it and it came out ok Im not thrilled with it but it works for now. I reattached it with silicone caulk. I dont have my red radiator hoses put on yet either . I just got them today and havent had a chance to put them on today.

Thank
B

just tape it off when you paint. It'll m ake life easier. Get some painterss tape place it over it, press it down to get all the cracks, and cut it out with a razor

heat it up with blow dryer and it'll come clean off....why take a razor and risk cutting your emblem or engine cover when you can just take it off for a perfect paint job? you can just put it back on, there are 2 lil holes in the back that will hold the emblem in place without adhesive

^ or ya could do that lol. Preferably I would go with that route just because I would want a clean evn paint job. However, I mentioned the other option just incase you didn't feel like taking it off

I would just use painters tape and paint around it.

I've done it both ways with my old cover. Remove the emblem. It makes for a cleaner paint job and it makes it that much easier to not have to tape around it.

BTW, I'll be putting it up for sale if anyone wants it Custom paint job

Sorry for the poor attempt at a plug Buckeye
