45k service and a chirpping noise.

Dam, my 05 in for an overhaul. Stock tires are screaming to be replace. Car needs a maintainence done. Brakes are squeaking. And theres this chirping sound everymorning when i go to start my car. Is it the belt? It only makes this birdy chirping sound for like 10-15minutes of car starting up. What is it? Dealer said i need a new belt cuz they said the belt looks almost worn out and that it cost 129$ to replace!!! on top of that is a maintenance service too which is around 560$. Then new tires are gona land me another 600ish$. OMG WHY DIDN"T I GET A BMW WITH THERE FREE SERVICES???? owell.

ANy advice from the experts would be nice. lIke how do i cut cost, where do i go instead of the dealer to lower cost and etc. I've set aside 700$ originally to get new tires but dam, i think they gona have to wait another year maybe.

chirp sound is definitely the belt, don't get ur **** done by the dealer they are a rip off. Tires, DONT BUY FROM THE DEALER..THEY USE CRAPPY tires most of the time. Go to discount tire center or something along those lines. They will be 600 bucks.

Depending where u are from if u are looking to save money get kumhos. i dont have them but i've heard nothing but good things for their price.

45k isn't that much... change oil, change transmission fluid/differential fluid. that's bout it.. check the brake fluid/power steering.

most of that stuff you can do on your own which will yield the most savings or go to a trusted mechanic if you know of any. Otherwise if you still want a dealer to do the work go to a Nissan dealership they will do the same work Infiniti does for much cheaper usually.

The belts should go more than 45K miles, they most likely just need to be tightened as they loosen overtime, and when they are loose they tend to squeal.

Tires are cheap from tirerack.com, as previously said the dealer is going to most like put on crappy tires like Turanzas for some rediculous amount. Most major tire shops should match tireracks pricing.

Idk what previous maintanence was done but, maybe do an oil change, air filter, possibly trans flush and differential change if they have not been done yet. Have other fluids inspected and topped off.
