Re: I LOVE the sedan!

Taken from my post in Coupe forum-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I was put in the G35x for a loaner. The car seems much more powerful throughout. Especially in Gear Limiter (MM) mode. In my coupe I usually don't feel the pull until 3rd, but in this car I'm feeling power throughout. Of course the pull in the Gc at 4k rpm is much stronger than the sedan but the sedan just feels smoother.

Up shifting in MM is also smoother. My only complaint is that downshifting from 3rd to 2nd isn't a lunge like in the coupe, its a click and its much rougher.

I really didn't care for the auto reclining seats until now....I wish I had that. I just took an off ramp at 60 in the rain! This thing is amazing....but I'm sure I'll miss my coupe by the end of the day.

The sedan is pretty nice if you want /need more room.
It's nice to hear from coupe owners that our sedans are
OK! Most of us have coupe envy. LOL

Re: I LOVE the sedan!

Thanks for the nice comments. I truly like both cars a lot, with the exception of the seats. When I hit the Powerball I am gonna buy and mod a coupe including a custom driver's seat. Of course, I am ALSO gonna buy a Saleen S7. : )

Re: I LOVE the sedan!

Clue it's the same car... IMOP the coupe is better looking but I needed 4 doors... test drove both didn't notice any difference in power or drive between the two.

I guess the difference is you got to try the AWD version... maybe I should go test drive one myself

Re: I LOVE the sedan!

Great to hear you loved the sedan. I had no doubt that the sedan Gx was the way to go if I wanted to drive the car all year around in northeast winter weather. I love the looks of the coupe, but I love the elegance of the sedan even more. There is no way to lose with this car!

Re: I LOVE the sedan!

It seems like I may be over exaggerating but its the truth. When I drive (my girlfriend always laughs when I say this) I can feel the car. And some days when I'm driving I don't even need mirrors or the speedometer because I can just feel everything....Its undescribable. The g35x took this feeling to another level.

I'm thinking about going to get something checked out on a dry day and opening her up.

Re: I LOVE the sedan!

I wanted to get the coupe but couldnt find a manufacturer that makes a rack for the top. I think I remeber that the back seat folds down in the coupe with is good for snowboards. But I would never be able to fit my surfboard in there. So I ended up with the sedan and love it so far. I have ~600 miles on it now and am planing on taking a road trip as soon as the weather clears up.

Re: I LOVE the sedan!

There truly isn't much of a difference between the two. They both have similar handling characteristics and are equally as fun to drive, though the Coupe has the capability of pulling more G's, do to it's slightly wider stance. All in all they are both the greatest cars on earth. Thank you to all the Coupe owners for your recognition and compliments. I in return have great respect for the Coupes and am envious of the wheel options you have to select from. So hard to find a +55mm to fit 10 wide on the rear properly. Oh well I guess I'll have to settle for those 13x8 wires, 100 spoke, tripple gold with knock offs.

P.S.
For those who care. I drive a Silver Sedan 6MT CA license plate "KRZ HAYN" = "Krazy Hawaiian". A "Shaka" is always welcome.
