I have an OEM e46 coupe m3 spoiler sitting in my room. I've test fitted it and it overhangs roughly 1/4" on each side. But you can get it to fit by bending the ends in a little instead of following the trunk line to the end. It's not a perfect fit, but close enough.

pics once installed please... Is there another M3 version that fits better?... Now I'm reluctant to order... I've seen a few with (what looks like) perfect fitment...

Here is the one from ebay. it was only 60 bucks and the color is dead on. I am pretty picky about fitment things so even though it's a little bit short on each end, it looks nice.

older pic though. since thend I got the 05/06 tails and debaged the g35

I hope Gdup35sedan doesn't mind but here are some pics of his authentic OEM M3 spoiler. The 3rd pic shows how the spoiler doesn't exactly follow the trunk line. It is pushed in a little on the ends so that it doesn't overhang on the trunk. It is definitely not a big deal and IMHO it looks good.

^^^ thanks for posting the pics - I forgot about Grant's... I agree, I think it looks better than short as well... I'm wondering how it would look bent but lining up to trunk edge on both ends and coming a little farther out in the center... rather than lining up in center and slightly forward on either end...

So that's the 03 M3? yes?...

Yes that spoiler corresponds to all 346 M3 coupes including '03 M3.

EDIT: E46 not 346

hmmm... so they are all too long or too short... bummer. Maybe the UT is the best option (for fitment)

Also the real spoiler won't be arriving at your house rolled up like the ebay ones. Once you see the real thing, the ebay spoiler looks nothing like it.

Here's my Ebay Spoiler, I got for $60 bux. It doesn't bother me that its slightly shorter on each end, its just from a side leveled view you can see a gap between the spoiler and trunk, revealing the double sided tape. Other than that, I'm happy with it. For a minor exterior mod, I did not see the justifcation for spending $180 for the UT spoiler.

^ +1 i agree with aka. I went the same route and it looks great. couldn't see myself dropping almost 200 bones on a tiny cosmetic mod. however, maybe in the future i'll upgrade but the ebay one is great for now and it comes pre painted!
