Next Two Mods on my G Sedan

Well I ordered Stillen Swaybars and MD 5/16 Isothermal spacer for my sedan. I am planning on getting these mods installed after memorial day. I cannot wait to get them on. I should see a difference in my performance and handling.

Also got polyuthane bushing to go with my swaybars.

I was thinking about picking up a set of sways. couldn't decide which ones though. Seems like stillen's are popular. I just may have to go with them! Post back up when you get them installed!

I've had the Stillen sways and bushings for the last 8 months, and it's been a big difference when taking hard turns and the like since body roll and sway have now been reduced to nil. They're kinda pricey ($300) but you get what you pay for the brand name.

I also have the MD 5/16" iso-thermal spacer for 1 month so far, and I can hear the difference when the car is running idle. The exhaust tone is a tad deeper (with my Z-tube), but of course the real difference is found when performing a dyno run in order to see the HP gain. I'm almost 100% sure my car feels faster than before but maybe it's just all in my head..

What setting are you running on your sways. My performance shop told me to run med/front and hard/rear.

I got the sways from Stillen when they were on sale. I got them shipped to my door for 280.00 dollars. I believe it was last month.

I think the spacer will get you 10 morehorses to the ground from what I have heard and read on this foruem.

Not much I can add technically at all to this thread, but I'm sure you're going to fall in love with your G all over again with the sways and isothermal spacer .

I went straight to hard/hard (thanks again, sxexcx) and I haven't looked back. Maybe one day I'll go med/hard and see if that changes anything.

How did the ride quality change when you installed the sways? I'm still on stock springs with my 6MT, but I'd like to change them out to Eibach Prokits soon.

Thanks. I had a pretty thick RSB on my last car and it made the ride noticeably choppy, but I think it's because my old car had a rear beam instead of independent suspension.

+1. Real drivers like that setting, except my rear endlink snapped over time .

Got my sways and spacer put on today and I was very impressed on the preformance and handling of my car now. I guess the next thing will be exhaust. Waiting for MD exhaust to come out before I jump on getting Stillen gen 2.
