2003 G35 Sedan

So im looking into a 03' g35 sedan but there is one problem...the box around the trunk handle to open the trunk. I think it looks terrible on the car and im confused as to what can be done with it.

Any ideas or input?

unless he's talking about the inside of the trunk, my 04 doesn't have a box of any sort or a handle. If it is the inside of the trunk, who cares? no one knows it's there unless you drive around with the trunk open. The little handle on the inside actually assist you in gripping the trunk to close it once its open

just like that. Ive considered a higher year but i cant pass up this price. Any idea how much a swap would be for a trunk to a later year?

I paid $100 bucks for one at a junk yard. If you can find the same color, that would be the best way to go.

Or you could do what I did

My 2003.5 doesnt have it. I think its only 2003 have them and I believe it changed when the 6mt was offerered half way through the model year. I think all doggy doors are autos.
