Body Colour Mouldings
hey all,
I have been looking for a while to try to determine whether or not the black mouldings around the bottom of the sedan can be painted body coloured from factory??. Does this come with the Aero Kit?? I HAVE looked a lot for this information, and have seen cars with body colourd mouldings, but no definitive answers. Im sure this has been asked before, but i will be damned if I can find it, so flame if you must, but help me out too!!
Thanks

Re: Body Colour Mouldings
It's the $2000+ Aerodynamic Body Kit that has the different front bumper and side and rear body-color pieces. The black moldings you're referring to aren't painted from the factory, they're covered with these ground effects pieces.
Some members have had their black molding pieces painted at a body shop for approx. $500.

Re: Body Colour Mouldings
You can probably buy the pieces from your local dealership's parts department (or Grubbs).. but it's a factory option called the "Aerodynamic Body Kit." There's a 4-piece and a 5-piece version. The 5-piece version includes the rear spoiler, and the 4-piece version only exists for those that are also getting the Aero Kit (which already includes the rear spoiler).
I don't know if the one at Grubbs is the same or not, either.. but I'm sure you can call them or send them an email and get an answer.
