I've learned that Wix has a great reputation with oil filters, so I went ahead and stocked up on them when I bought my 2004 sedan 2 months ago.

However, I know nothing about their engine and cabin filters. Here are the part numbers for my car:





My Wix vendor quoted me ~$17 for the above cabin filter, and ~$8 (yes, just eight dollars) for the above engine air filter. If I my order totals $50 or more, then they waive shipping, too. (I noticed that other vendors charge much more.)

I'd appreciate feedback on anyone who has experience with the above filters.

 

well i know for a fact their engine oil filters are one of the best. Haven't heard too much about the air filter though

 

does that cabin filter include an activated carbon filter panel as well? gordgee sells filters with AC panels, great fit too...

 

I have used the Wix air filter before but not for the G (it was for my previous Lexus). Seems to work just as good as the stock one and at a cheaper price as well. It definitely won't improve the fuel economy like the K&N air filters have stated.
