Introduction and review of my first 45 days with the G35.
I am a long time and hardcore BMW enthusiast. I own a company that produces turbo kits for BMWs. I have been driving nothing but 10+ year old boosted BMWs for the past 6 years and decided to take the plunge and buy a newer sedan. It's need be able to carry my three kids but be sporty as well.
I looked at current generation 3 and 5 series BMWs. Drove a SRT8 wagon and CTS-V. In the end I came across a 2006 Sedan with a 6MT. I was able to purchase it for $19,000 which was a bargain compared to the other cars I had looked at.
I partially purchased it just to own something a little different than my previous cars. It is the first Nissan I have ever owned.
I have used it as a daily driver and took one 1000 mile trip in it so far. It has performed as expected and been nice to drive.
I have also performed the following mods.
Tokicos and Eibachs
Stillen Sways
Stillen Gen1 exhaust
Stillen Z tube and K&N drop in
New Pirelli 235/45/18 Zero Nero (not a mod)
Also changed the oil.
I was able to buy the exhaust for only $375 and the Tokicos and Springs for $570 delivered.
Coming from BMWs these are real bargains. I purchased the remainder new.
Now the car sounds and drives more to my liking. The power improvement is noticiable as is the handling.
This car is so simple to work on and everything was very easy to install. The ride is even improved since the Eibach springs are progressive rate and the oem are linear.
I plan on a Driver's School at Road America and Mosport this Summer/Fall.

Welcome to the forums, Todd. Always nice to have another first gen G35 sedan owner.
You've got a nice list of mods to begin with there.
The sways are my favorite mod, but coming in a close second would be the motordyne 5/16 spacer. You should look into getting one of those
