Hey 05Gsedan, I have the exact same car as you! Sport tuned rims look awesome on Diamond graphite. I have a friend who has a 04 coupe and he loves my 05 sedan. Keeps telling me how he feels he got rip-off since the 05 are so much nicer inside. BTW, I haven't seen that many DG sedan at all.

Just ordered an 05 diamond graphite sedan. Was not my first choice as lakeshore, twilight blue, and garnet red were ahead of it, based upon pictures. However, when I went to the dealer and saw the colors in person, I could not stop looking at Diamond graphite and it became my first choice. I was undecided on the interior color-stone or graphite, and decided on graphite because black just goes so well with diamond graphite, especially with with "tire shine" on the tires.

 

I could have gotten an '05 in Diamond Graphite back in Dec, but since I wanted Lakeshore I'm waiting until late Feb...bummer.

Funny, one of my first views of it was also at a show (the NY Auto Show) in the spring before I was even thinking of getting one. It was Diamond Graphite and it looked terrific. When I decided to get one in the fall I thought about the Brilliant Silver, but the I30 I was trading in was that color, so I thought I'd be adventurous and get the Diamond Graphite (with willow interior). Most of the colors look great. Around here, most of the G35s seem to be Silver or Graphite.

I traded in my Lemon wanna be 2003 I35 for a 2004 G sedan in Feb 04. It(the I35) was diamond graphite with the graphite interior. So, even though I liked the diamond graphite I decided to get my G in brilliant silver with the graphite interior. I was not totally impressed with the color selection INfiniti had at the time and am glad they have added new colors. However, there don't seem to be any bold colors except maybe the red. My wife has an Audi A4 sport package in Denim Blue and that baby gets comments all the time. Maybe a nice pewter color like the SC430 had a few years ago would be nice on the G... soft but classy lookin...how bout it Infiniti?

 

I get a lot of comments on my Brilliant Silver, I have had red/maroon cars forever, so the BS was a nice change for me, when I saw it at the dealer, with the chrome wheels, I liked it right away, LOL, bought it right away too!

 

I use to get alot of comments on my CB sedan but now you can say the novelty has sorta worn off.
