2003 G35 sedan y-pipe midpipe

Hey guys,

I was if anybody can help me. I searched around and could not find any previous threads on this so please bare with me.

I just got an 06 350z midpipe and I am going to get it installed and locally at an exhaust shop on my 03 G35 sedan

I also have the Y-pipe of the 06 350z. I know that the midpipe does make a little bit of difference in sound.

Will the Y-pipe off the 06 350z fit on my 03 G35 sedan?
Is it actually worth it to replace it (does it make any sound/HP difference)?

Thanks for all the help guys!!!

It gives you very minimal hp gains if any at all, but does give you a new exhaust tone. They might also be lighter than stock pipes?

Is it excatly the same size as the stock one I have for my 03 g35 sedan?

Like is there any modifications I have to do to it?

I know the 350z midpipe need an 6" extension for it to fit on my sedan.

The mid pipe will get you more noise and maybe a few hp. The y pipe is the same and will net you neither noise nor hp.
