7500 mi. service

What's up folks? I'm about to take my sedan in this saturday for a 7500 miles service. What should i expect from the dealer? What type of services, expenses, etc...

Don't let them do anything not in the owners manual for
service. At 7500 miles, you need an oil change. Check
tranny fluid level. Check the brakes, etc. They will want to
rotate and balance your tires. Do the tires really need
balancing? You can change your own air filter. etc.... Don't
get ripped off.

You can do everthing yourself. All they are doing is checking for things that, if you drive normally, would not wear down. I brought mine in for an oil change at 7200 and they rotated the tires for free. But if you like the piece of mind that they look at your car, go for it.

It's a rip off. The dealer wanted 125.00 for mine. That was just an oil change, road test check fluid and check the brakes..
Needless to say, I cancelled it.

That's right, you don't HAVE to do the premier, and shouldn't! I will definitely go for the brake inspection however, since they are warranteed!

Re: 7500 mi. service

I just did the 7500 service. It was oil change, tire rotation and balance. It was a little under $70. I'm glad they checked the balance because two of my tires were out of balance. The ride is smoother... not that I noticed it being poor before... its just better now :-)

Re: 7500 mi. service

I recently had mine done - $90.00
oil change (mobile 1), filter, rotating of the tires, check fluids.....standard mfgr check up
is it more expensive to get this done at the dealer - of course it is - it will always be more expensive. But I dont mind paying for it, the amount of service I get is well worth it to me. And having a vehicle with all of its work done at the dealer w/ the verification brings in more $ at time of resell or trade-in. But its always a personal choice.

Yeah, I just talk to the Infiniti service person and she told me it would cost me about $89 bucks for the service. Sounds pretty reasonable to me! I'm going there this Saturday. Oh by the way, she said that price also includes a car wash!

That's because Infiniti always washes your car for free everytime you take it in for anything. They don't even do a good job of it.
