Thinking of selling for a coupe...

Hey guys! i have had my 2006 g35 Sedan black on black for about 6 mos...and I am kind of regretting it. I want a coupe lol.

My g35 sedan has:
auto
2006
black on black
good condition
alloy wheels
premium package
aero package/spoiler
sunroof or moonroof..dunno which one
navigation
sport suspension
bluetooth phone
reclining back seats
dual climate control
38000 miles.

How much do you guys think I could get for this?

Do you think it is a good idea to sell it and then buy a 2005+ coupe?

I am thinking of a coupe that is 2005 or later and that is manual.

Thanks guys!!

Why did u get it in the first place?? I have an X sedan, I got it for the AWD feature, and LOVE IT!!! I also have a 4yr old, but that didn't matter since I only drive the G like once a week if that.

Why are you asking other people what you should do with your car? Do whatever the heck you feel like. Want to drive off a bridge? No problem. Want to run over cats? No problem. Want to sell for a coupe? No problem. Do you see the trend?

If you wanted a coupe, you should had bought the Coupe.
unless you were hauling people around and wanted the extra 2 doors.
Just look at the market value of the 06 sedan if you want to consider selling.
Post some pictures as well for us to make a guesstimate.

Is your G and AWD, and what state do you live in? Cuz I've been in the coupe in snow... yea, not a great experience.

Value of the car varies with location. Search classifieds for cars matching yours in your area and see what they're going for.

It does vary slightly be region, but you are probably looking at around $17k for trade-in at a dealer.

"sunroof or moonroof..dunno which one"

fyi. Sunroofs are solid metal panels that open, which I don't think any new cars offer. Moonroofs are glass.

j/k

to the op: go drive a coupe and see if you like how it drives etc, and the long doors(getting in/out in b/t parked cars etc).

look in autotrader. com to see what similar cars from private sellers are going for.

I would not personally sell for a coupe...I did the whole "should I get a coupe exercise" B4 I bought my sedan. I drove both and though I liked the coupe, I needed 4 functional doors and the extra rear room and ease of car seat use for the kids. If you have kids or plan on them in a few years keep the sedan, if not then go for the coupe.

Well you're definitely gonna have to spend some money. Coupe prices are much higher than sedan prices

The coupe is a little heavier than the sedan.

to post pics: host them with a place like photobucket, then they'll give you links (use the IMG ones) that you can copy and paste into your messages
