Trunk remote open *sometimes* not working - ideas?

Follow-up: I figured out the problem. At least on my car. Be sure she is fully stopped before shutting off the ignition. If the car is rolling and the key is switched off, the trunk release remains disabled (it is automatically disabled when the vehicle speed is above zero).
