Hey guys,

My cigarette lighter is not working. I am assuming it's a fuse (at least that's what I will check first) Does anyone know which one I should look for and what box it's in (drivers side or under hood). Thanks!

 

it's under the driver side. Mine is not working either, i checked the fuse but it was okay. i don't know what's up with mine any ideas? anyone?

 

What is the label I should be looking for?

 

Nevermind ... when I looked, I found it. It's clearly marked Cig. Lighter (or something to that effect)

Mine has power but the lighter does not heat up, for a while it would work sometimes but now not at all, I think the lighters are just junk.

 

does anybody know if accesories like phone chargers, ipod chargers, etc etc work in the cig lighter outlet or only thru the power outlet? my cig lighter dosen't work i think someone just put in a different one it dosen't say nissan on it, the light illuminates around it when i turn the headlights on.

 

i had a problem with my verizion charger for my lg....when i tried using it, it blew a fuse...so i brought it into miller infiniti so they could take a look, i thought maybe it was something wrong with the fuse ...they took a look at it and the same thing happened when they plugged in my charger...one of the tech guys had the same phone but one of those cheap imitation chargers that you pick up for like 15 bucks instead of the $40 ones you get at the verizon store and it worked fine...so i just went and picked up one of those...the dealership said the one i had was running to much power

 

2 of the 3 cig. lighters in my wife's car are not working. I haven't looked into it much but I guess this must be a common problem.

 

Mine doesn't work either, won't charge my phone or anything...

 

They are on two different circuits, the passenger side and the center consul are together and the Driver side one is by itself and the only one that will accept the actual lighter. I found this out when a penny got stuck in the center one ...

 

ok sure enough my 15a fuse was blown so i substituted it with a spare 10a till my mini fuses get to me from ebay, keen1801 how is it that u have 3 lighters in your car, my sedan only has 1, my lighter says NILES on it, is this the original lighter?
