Mesh Grill

Looking for a mesh grill, I dislike the billet ones. I did a search, found one thread, but one the grill was not 100% fitment. The other one, by unlimited tuning seems like it will be a couple hundred, though I'm not sure.

I did find this and was wondering if it would work since I do not have the sport package.

I'd assume it would fit, but I'm not positive. Anyone know?

That looks like mesh for the UTR grille. It is only mesh, not the grille so I'm not sure where you would put it?

Hmmm, thanks for catching that. I guess I have to keep looking then....or just leave the stock. I like the stock but I prefer the look of the Gialla grill that is offered for the coupe.

Searched eBay. Only found one and its going for $100+. Do you have pics of yours installed? Was it from a seller who has inventory on the same item?

i think it would be nice to have a fine mesh, like the kind to keep bugs out. Not a coarse mesh like you'd see on most of these cheap aftermarket setups.

Would the ones that say 03-04 fit the '06 sedan? I've read in the auctions they won't.

No, they will not fit. I purchased an ebay one before and was not happy with the fitment. I got rid of it and went with an Unlimited Tuning grille instead. (http://www.unlimitedtuning.com/)

I was alot happier with the quality and the fitment of the grille. Mind you that mine is an 03 and I think the ebay ones for the 05/06 sedans might have a better fit and finish but I don't know from personal experience.

Wow, that's a super clean car. If you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay for the grill from Unlimited tuning? I had seen it on their website but there was no price.

I bought my grille from UT 2 yrs ago this month...at that time, they were offerering the grill for $265 and the G2 trunk spoiler for $175. They gave me 10% off by purchasing both items, so it ran me $396 for both items and Free Shipping.

Then you need to drop the dough to get them painted which is another $100-$150 ballpark cost...you can probably find a place to paint it for $75.

I got mine for like $180? I think from another user on the boards. Last time I checked with UT, they were selling them for $185 shipped. Give them a call.

Thanks for the info. I don't know why I was under the impression it would cost a little. I guess I'll have to put this on my to do list as I'd rather spend the money towards suspension.

Edit: Hmm, the 185 shipped isn't bad. I may leave the trim around it black, but is it a matte black?
