ok so the day after we changed my suspension, my brakes start chirping.. (it sounds like a bad belt, but it only makes the sound when i brake) This is my front passenger side..

and today (3 days later), my front left side is chirping too, but its not when i brake. it only does it when the wheel is to the left. it doesnt matter how far to the left, it can even be just to the slightest bit. but if it turns my car even to the slightest angel to the left, it will still chirp. o and this is only at speeds over 20 mph.

o and one other thing.. usually my car is very smoothe on the interstate, but tonight it was doing 80 mph and it definately wasnt smoothe.. it was very rough.

IS THIS ALL RELATED?? in confused and pissed at whats going on...

 

I think I may know what is going on...

I think that you keep hitting birds whenever you brake and when you turn to the left, and that is also what is throwing off your "smootheness"



... Honestly, I have no clue other than it may be an ungreased bearing or something somewhere... but the bird guess is a solid one, don't you think?

 

yea thats exactly what i was thinking too....


i actually got it looked at by a mechanic and he said once i replace the brake pads and rotors, that chirping noise will go away... but idk, cause the chirp is there when the car is moving and im not braking.. theres two chirps.. one when i brake (front passenger) and one just when driving and not turning to the right (front driver) he said the chirp while driving is letting me know i need to change my pads.... its not a belt though because there is no chirp at all when the car is idle
