Found something else different between 03-04.

I was having a talk with Dave O, and asked him about this unit. It was a Powersteering cooler. Its located under the horns. All 2004s seem to have this but no 03 or 03.5 does. Thought I point that out to you guys.

Mods: JDM Clears, 20% tint, Z-tube, K&N Drop In

I heard that the power steering unit could easily overheat with the G35 in track driving. So do 2004's have the cooler and this is not a problem anymore?

The 04 definitely has a cooler, but not sure if it helps on the track. I am sure it does.

I did not know the G35 had a power steering cooler, what does it look like? I'll have to check it out later!

It's true that 03 automatic sedans did not have a power steering cooler. I don't know about the 04 5AT cars. 03 6MT sedans definitely have the power steering cooler though. Here is a pic of the power steering cooler on my 03 6MT sedan.

Is yours a 03.5 or 03? I was told 03 didn't have them.

There isn't an '03.0 6MT sedan. The '03.5 revision came out in Oct/Nov 2002, and the 6MT didn't come out until the following Apr/May 2003. Roughly.

Yep, that's about right. I ordered my 03 6MT sedan in Dec 02 and took delivery the first week of March 03.
