love it - now just get rid of the rest of the chrome rimmed windows, and you'll be pure stealth.

I just detailed my car this weekend and after over a year the overlays are still holding up very well. They have some minor scratches but nothing you can see unless you stick your head down and look close.

what are the handles made of? i wonder how they would respond to sandblasting for paint, maybe with a very fine media, even plastic would be ok... the vinyl is hot though!

I'm pretty sure the handles are plastic, so instead of sandblasting, I would just scuff them with sandpaper...

The door handles are plastic. Put a magnet on them if you don't believe me. The "belt line" trim is combination of metal (chromed), plastic, and rubber.

they absolutely are not plastic.

Edit: ooops, yes they are... I just went and gave them a close look... I've actually had them off the car and in my hand masking off the frame (it was over 2 yrs ago though) - so I cant believe I didn’t realize they were plastic
.

For you DG guys, the best solution I have come up with is to use the "light smoke" vinyl film that is used for head lights and tail lights. I bought a sheet of this and covered my handles, it gave them a color silmilar to the dark chrome of the stock grill and it matches the DG very well. I'll try to post some pictures soon.
