Joining the Family this week

Ive posted once about the type of car i was getting and what i should look out for, i had a couple views but no replys. Im signing papers on my new 05 g35 hopefully tomorrow or thursday. im getting a 05 g35 27k lakeslate blue tan interior premium package every option but navi. i cant wait drive this thing other than the little test drive ive taken.

Congratulations , I had an 05 Lakeshore Slate and I absolutely loved that colour. Have fun.

im buying it from grubbs here in bedford. they put all new tires on it, along with doing the 40k mile service before i pick it up. ive read about the brakes on these should i get them to check them before i take delivery?

I would imagine everything was gone over at the Dealers. It wouldn't hurt to talk about anything you were concerned about though.

well i know there is concern about the brakes and that issue where oil is leaking into the spark plug housing. see ive never owned an infiniti so i wanted some insight on things to look for in a used G

The problems I had with my 05 sedan were:
-could not fill the gas tank, it was fixed under warranty (they replaced the shutter valve) Some people had their sending units replaced also.
-the CD unit jammed up and they replaced it with a new unit. I know this was a common proplem on the 05 and earlier models.

I had no other problems with the car it ran beautifully. I never heard of the problems you mention on the 05 sedan.
