Sedan Wish List

Not necessarily what is ALREADY out there, but stuff we'd like to see created (or adapted) for the sedan?

We've pushed for Dual Exhaust and got it.
It took a while, but we've got some shops making grilles now.
StrictlyZ now carries a pre-modded right side battery cover.

WE CAN MAKE THINGS HAPPEN!

Some of the stuff we've wished for so far include:

1. Rear Roof Spoiler
2. Front a/arm camber kits (only Kintetix offers it now)
3. Pillar gauge mounts
4. Braided hose kits

Any other ideas?

Re: Sedan Wish List

I wish there were more prepainted bumper or body kit choices. I wish the fenders/suspension supported an offset of +25 like the coupe does.

Re: Sedan Wish List

well ted, i believe the rear roof spoiler is coming out very soon. im guessing about 2 months. if i have it on my car, ill bring her to a meeting and you can see how it looks.

im still waiting for the braided hose kit too.

my personal wish list:
-more body kits or an imitation of the sportec would do.

- projector blacked-out headlights w/angel eyes.

- more body kits, bumpers. (coupes top secret style bumper)

- mesh style inset grill. (like the coupes gialla grill)

- white face gauges w/ blue lights (not reverse indiglo)

- maybe a conversion kit or a how to, to make the sedan have dual mufflers on each side of the car (like the coupes) and to make an aftermarket coupe exhaust system fit the sedan with an adapter.

SkyLine350GTs... You took the words out of my mouth:
- projector blacked-out headlights w/angel eyes
- white face gauges w/ blue lights (not reverse indiglo)
Other than that, maybe a better CD player or more choices for an upgraded radio from the factory.

Re: Sedan Wish List

Lets not forget a larger staggered wheel selection. More of those 9.5" wide +42-48 offset and 10" wide +48-55 offset. Lip spoiler, anyone?

Re: Sedan Wish List

I seriously agree with the dual exaust, come on even the 3.5 Altima and the 04 Maxima's come with it. Even if they wont do it they can at least put the coupe mid-pipe on the sedan to make it sound more coupe like.
The same LSD system that on 6mt on auto sedan with sports package.
A VDC system that gives you a medium. So you can choose on, off, and something that in between.
Nismos front sway bars standard on sports package coupe and sedan. A tower bar over the engine like the 350Z on both coupe and sedan with sports package.
Nismo or Nismo like flywheel standard in the 6mt.
Lighter and better torque converter making more power.
Digital speedo gauge like you see in the 350Z but if possible intergrate it into the navi.
Stronger front & rear. Better & stonger quality paint.
Add the FX45 tech package as an option but modify it to exclude features that are usless for a coupe/sedan, but still have the Navi as a stand alone option.
More power not to mention clearer sound out of the Bose system.
Bluetooth system like you see in the TL
Lighter but same looking rear spoiler on coupe and sedan. Make the sedan have the Areo body kit as a standard option but make it a little more classier and stronger.
About 8 more hp for the awd model.
A manual mode that works more like a manual and possible make it a 6spd like BMW and Audi has.
Bi-xeon head lights.
In the coupe, make the rear seats more like the rear of 2004 Maxima with the 4seats as an option.

This may sound a little greedy but most of these are feasible that are currently in use in other Nissan/Infiniti cars or can be done easly. You dont have to agree tho.

Re: Sedan Wish List

I'd like to see a true dual exhaust with tips either side of the rear of the car, coupe-style.

...how about variable length intake runners to maximize output at various stages of RPMs? Might give us a little more low-end torque straight off the bat... I'm thinking VW-stylee, with a hydraulic switch that changes the path of the intake at like 4k RPMs. Seems to work wonders with the powerband on the 24V VR6 for example.

I'd also like to see some poly engine mounts to lessen the engine/transmission movement a little. I get a lot of shifter movement on throttle up/down that I'd love to see eliminated, plus with some rock-hard mounts I think you'd just feel the power of the engine more...

And how about some steering wheel choices that could preserve electronic functionality and airbags but look nice as heck and feel good as well? I want a small, fat, suede MOMO on there without losing any functionality.

I'm sure I'll think of more as I obsess about this stuff in my dreams tonight

Re: Sedan Wish List

Is this list what we want from the factory or aftermarket?

I really just want a new grille...like the Gialla for the coupe, but chrome...that's it. That's all I need.

Re: Sedan Wish List

80mm/76.3mm single pipe performance exhaust by Jic complete with their Y-pipe priced at $900 or less.

80mm/76.3 R-SR EXmag single pipe peformance exhaust system, priced at $500

80mm/76.3mm single pipe performance exhaust specifically done to control noise level's to cater to the guys that want more power, but also want little to no increase in sound volume. (Good project for Magnaflow or Dynomax with their Ultralfow line)

A aftermarket copy of the 6MT coupe/Track Z brembo brake, something that sell's for A LOT less then 13"/14" brakes we have now in the aftermarket. $600 per axle would be nice.

Mild drop performance linear springs to run with Koni SA's or Tokico D-spec shocks. Offer 3 choices
1. 10% stiffer then oem 3/4" drop
2. 25% stiffer then oem 3/4" drop
3. 25% stiffer then oem 1 1/8" drop
OR a spacer kit that allow's existing Z aftermarket springs to be run on the sedan and not drop the sedan so much, something that would sit in the lower front spring seat cup and be 1" tall, same for the rear.

Rear upper spring seats made from hard plastic with a 1/4" layer of poly where the spring actually sits. Oem parts are too mashmellowy.

Copy the Z's extra under car chassis bracing, figure a way to use the Z's rear pin stay brace (sedan's spare tire wheel well prevent's such a swap, not sure a way around it is possible)

Umm a down to earth version of this suspension bushing kit, not one that cost's $1575! https://www.350evo.com/catalog/produ...3921f56bdeb752

Ok, this is out there,...............
A spare tire wheel well delete kit, with a fuel emissions relocate kit. Why, so we can run any a coupe exhaust system or for the guys that want to run dual mufflers.

Re: Sedan Wish List

That sure be sweet that 350Z digital speedo but it worked like that G-tech meter where it also told you your 0-60 and 1/4 times.
High power dual exaust *drools*.
I rather see Nismo like rear sway on the car and rear tires that are 3.5cm wider.
Light weight rear seats and look and feel the same and have the same or better quality.

Re: Sedan Wish List

The thing I would love to have since buying my G35 Sedan last month is more ECU options- without having to send the ECU out.
I was really looking into the WRX before the G35 and counting on getting an Accessport from Cobb Tuning. Unfortunately they only have products for Subarus. You are able to reflash the ECU yourself from various maps we can download from them. Whenever you do a performance upgrade you can flash to that specific map.

Re: Sedan Wish List

I would love a true dual exhaust system and be able to put some wider rims and tires on, also a better braking system.
