according to the manual, we don't have to change spark plugs until 100k miles.... does it apply to wires ?
Seriously.. do plugs really last that long ?? shouldn't we change them every 20k ??

They really last that long. They are double platinum tipped. the wires are high quality also.

My Taurus SHO went 101K before I took it in for a tune. the plugs didn't look bad at all and the wires were fine with no misfires.

A word to the wise is to not mess with your spark plug wires. when you start moving them around, they break internally and will cause your car to misfire.
