Fuel Damper Replacement - TSBITB06-012

Has anyone performed this TSB, i.e. replaced the fuel damper? I am curious as to how difficult it is. Mine is definately making a rather loud thumping noise in the passenger side (as described in the TSB). I have heard dealerships want several hundred $$ for this. The damper itself is <$100.

I'm not familiar with this problem, but from reading the TSB, it doesn't seem that difficult. Have you done the diagnosis in the TSB?

I did do the diagnosis. Basically you grab the fuel damper line and see if it makes the same "thump-thump" as is heard in the passenger seat. It does.

The one thing that had me concerned is the use of a special tool to separate the fuel damper line from the under car line.
