My girlfriend was actually driving the car when it first happened - she lost power - it seemed to go into "limp" mode. She turned off the car and when she turned it on again it worked ok (with the SES light on). The thing is, that before I had the sensor replaced, whenever I stepped on the throttle (gas pedal) it seemed like a 1/2 second wait before the car would respond. When the sensor was replaced that problem went away. No throttle lag.

my car has thrown this code, im 3100 miles over my warranty and they want $375 to fix it at the dealership!!! It seems to be a faulty sensor since there is more than quite a few G35s experiencing this! I called infiniti consumer affairs and they said they cant help me until i get it diagnosed by an authorized infiniti dealer..more money more problems!!

Just got back from the dealership. They replaced the throttle body and seems to have fixed the problem. $448.10 was the total, including a 39.99 oil change. The parts ran $184 and the labor was $196 @ $98 per hour......WOW, I'm in the wrong business
I'm just happy that I had the dealership, that I purchased the car from, write a statement saying they would pay for this fix.
My total out-of-pocket cost was $0

I totally get your frustration when the codes keep coming up despite the procedural reset of ECU (brake pedal stuff). I've done it over 50 times now after I replaced my TB for about $70 (My original TB went bad). The SES would come up all over again.
After like a few months, I was so frustrated that I was planning to go to a dealership to get this fixed. One night, I just disconnected the negative terminal of my battery, next day morning, the SES never came back again. My idle is well below 600 RPM (sometimes < 400). I could also feel the ride getting so much better. I drove all the way from bay area to Seattle and back and still going strong!! This is a 2003 G coupe. So this maybe the solution you are looking for ...
