"slip"

have a 6spd and everytime the tires break loose the little orange "slip" light pops up momentarily(normal obviously).but my question was is this just how they were permenatly designed or is there a buton/way to turn off the traction control if u wanted?

Even with "VDC OFF", it is still on and the "SLIP" light will still illuminate when you do something crazy.

And the VDC and traction control will re-engage as soon as you press on the brake. You can't do a standing burnout without some other changes.
