Angry 05 g35x grille removal guide

Can anyone post the steps + pictures on how to remove the 2005 g35x sedan grille. I can't seem to find the way to take it off and its different from the 02-04 guide that i was reading on.

open your hood, pop those plastic push cips off with a flathead screwdriver located on top of the grill. (this part is easy).

there are 2 really weird clips on the top left and right corner inside the grill, you have to look between the first and 2nd slabs. It looks like a diamond head in a square hole. take a flathead and turn it clock wise about 45 degrees so the diamond head detaches from the hole.

stick your hand inside with a small flathead screwdriver, place the flathead on the bottom of the clips and wiggle upwards. as you are wigglign the clips, slowly pull the grill outwards. repeat same steps for each of the clips on the bottom and your grill will be off.

Sorry, no pix, I am going off the top of my head.

the engine cover will not be anywhere near the clips......look inside your grill, you'll see it.

there are two more!!! It's on the top left corner and top right corner of the grill, look inside it! it's the diamond head in square hole clips I'm talking about.

Aznbeethoven didn't have it in his grill because his installer didn't bother putting it back in

Can I remove the Mt Fiji emblem on the grill seperate from the entire thing?? Or does the whole grill come in one piece.

you can pop off the fuji by itself pretty easily. Its just two tabs on the left and right sides, move the tabs inward and it should slide out.

It's not supposed to be a stylized Mount Fuji. The logo is derived from the symbol for infinity.

http://news.lippincottmercer.com/cgi...ewnews?1000046

To quote the design agency that developed the logo:

"The name “Infiniti” was chosen to communicate the endless potential for satisfaction among owners of a car with superb comfort, reliability and luxury. The unusual spelling assured the proprietary usage of the name, while the elegant logo was derived from the symbol for infinity."

Um...I'll still call it "Mt. Fuji" but thanks for the clarification.

OP...if you are still having trouble, I'll snap some pics later today when I get home..if you still need them....since I'm getting off early today
