G35X Ground Effects

Well, after reading all the information posted on lowering a G35X, I have decided that it's probably better not to do so. Anyone know of a ground effects kit that would make it "seem" lowered and get rid of the giant wheel gap?

Ground effects have little to do with wheel gap. If you want to reduce wheel gab you can lower your car or get tires with a ridiculously tall sidewall.

Why not lower it? As long as you do a little research, get the right springs and camber/toe kit and get it aligned, its fine.

ddpack, what year is your X. The OEM factory chin spoiler looks good for the 05/06 sedan the Nismo front bumper was available for the earlier model.

Welcome to the site, and please excuse the one posters comment, normally most peeps are very helpful.

I have just about all the oem toys except the chin spoiler. I really considered adding it awhile ago but all the newer toyota's like the corolla and camry have chin spoiler like body parts and they kindof ruined it for me.

I also asked some friends what they thought and most said they didnt like it, partly because of the seam it leaves. It fits well, but it is still obvious that its an add on part.

I have never lowered my X because of my driving conditions. I have bottomed out with my 05 and 07X at stock height.
I use my X's capabilities in AWD

I have never bottomed out in my 04X, and I definitely use the AWD. I live in Upstate NY

Although I can't honestly say that... I did bottom out in my driveway when I was trying to drive through a foot and a half of snow that wasn't plowed, but I kinda think that any car would do the same..

Seriously, it is not unusual for the roads to be like that in my area. I have actually had to pull off the road and spend the night in the car when the conditions got so bad.
In the summer I have been known to hit a few logging trails in the X also.

And I'm not talking about lowering a ton, just with coupe springs

I ve been doing research to lower the X and got good advise from Tim, Flying Lumpia & Kazaam, I believed they have X and running with H&R spring..
I m running 19" w/245 40 19 all around and having wheels gap 2-3" height
Normally I always get H&R spring which lower close to 2" but still not confirm wheather I would need chamber kit or not...
If you like to lower and wont get in trouble I think Z revised spring will work fine but it wont be as tide and firm as H&R spring
As soon as I got confirm that using H&R spring wont be trouble I ll let you knw
