About last week, I've noticed that one of my Intellikey just stopped working. Basically I would push buttons on one of the Intellikey to lock/unlock and open the trunk. But it wouldn't respond.
I got another Intellikey out. Tried it. Same issue.

But if I have my key near the door and push that little black button to unlock/lock the door, it works fine! I also have no problems on starting the car.

Perhaps maybe the battery for both Intellikeys died at the same time? or maybe it needs to be reprogrammed? Has anyone gone through this before? If this doesn't have to do with dead battery, do you think the dealership will repair under warranty?

 

Had the same problem a month ago. All it is is the battery is going dead. Pry your intelligent key open and replace the battery. You can do this by removing the actual key from the intelligent key. At the bottom where the actual key goes is a little slot use a little flat head screw driver so something that can fit to pry the two halves apart. The battery is CR2025 flat round wrist watch type battery. Hope this helps.
