someone leaned on my side mirror and broke it off
Exactly as the post is titled, somone leaned on top of my mirorr and the black plastic support piece attached to the car snapped. Its the piece that 3 bolts go through, that actualy attaches the mirror to the car. Its just haning by the power wire on the side of my car. The actual mirror and its housing is fine, jsut hte piece that it screws to is damaged. Should I glue it or can i find this black piece for sale? I am trying to figure out how to get the mirror off the car, as its hanging by a wire. I unscrewed the mount from the mirror, but i think i need to take off the entire door panel inside as well. If i get a reply or two Ill post pictures, whatever anyone needs to help me. Its a 2005 g35 sedan. Thanks for the help! Its my baby, I bought it less than 3 months ago, fresh out of college as my first car ( that i pay for myself).....

1. Welcome to driver
2. Whoever broke the mirror -->kick his ***
3. Make the fool pay for replacing it
4. You need to remove the door pannel inside, check in Audio section for DIY and pictures if you dont know how to do it
5. You can get used mirrors at your local junk yard www.car-parts.com
6. Now stop posting on driver and fix your mirror
