EDIT, let's make this relevant again. rockauto.com has this for the same price, $67 shipped to your door.

I'm curious about this as well, for anyone that went with a Walker and how it's weathered over time? I've been looking for a coupe mid pipe or a while and haven't found one yet in good condition for a reasonable price. I'm in Canada too, so availability and shipping factors in as well.

Ive been looking for an OEM coupe midpipe for some time now and could not find anything. a couple days ago my stock one started leaking pretty bad so i thought i would bite the bullet and try the walker coupe midpipe. VERY happy i went with this. it adds a very nice low-end deep tone up to 2000 RPM and over that it sounds great up to redline. i recommend it to anyone who is looking for an alternative to an oem one/cant find an oem one.

Would you say it provides the exact same VQ growl that a coupe pipe would provide? Is there any noticeable droning noise at speed with this unit?

I ask because I have a Walker unit sitting on my patio. It was delivered today and I intended to refuse delivery after reading multiple reviews here.

Sorry for the noob question, but I'm a noob.

So I can order part#56184 for my 2006 G35x (AWD) and it'll bolt right in and give me a better exhaust note? I love the sound of my exhaust now, but I wouldn't mind a little louder and deeper.

FYI, this part number also shows up when searching for model year 2006.

Thanks

I replaced the stock mid-pipe with a
Magnaflow 10436 Satin Stainless Steel 2.5" Round Muffler : Amazon.com : Automotive Magnaflow 10436 Satin Stainless Steel 2.5" Round Muffler : Amazon.com : Automotive

Had a local muffler shop that I found on Yelp do the install.

Very happy with the results.

Yes, but since I have an AWD sedan, I asked about bolting it into that.

I have a walker midpipe and I'm not satisfied, bought it last yr in Feb-Mar. 2 weeks ago it snaps in 1/2! Had to get it welded. So I'm looking for a new and better material. Galvanized steel is garbage! I would not recommend this to anyone. Like everyone says you get what you paid for! And I never bottom out. Just get a custom midpipe! Not worth purchasing cheap stuff. Learned my lesson. Not to mention, the walker mid pipe is shorter than the OEM suitcase resonator. So my walker muffler is shorter as well. Working on a new exhaust as well. The muffler tips don't line up with my bumper. Plus the tips point downward not straight

AAM Competition HFC's, a bit raspy. But working on my exhaust system anyway. As far as perforamance goes I haven't tuned it at all yet till I get some more stuff put into it. I feel a little more bang(output) so I'm happy where it's at. Have the need for speed!
