New to the club, not to the car...

Hello everyone, my name is Ben and I am the proud new owner of an 05 G35X. I purchased this new toy yesterday and am enjoying it already. The previous owner was a traveling saleswoman and although it has 70K on the clock, the car is in great shape.
I am the Shop Manager at CIN Motorsports (hopefully most of you have heard of us) and have been working and modifying these cars for a while now.
I have always been a V8 guy but I have loved these cars from the start and have seen how wonderful they are. I decided to trade the two extra cylinders for more refinement and we have built numorous G's and Z's that break the 600hp mark so I know they are capable of making V8 power.
That being said, I am glad to be a part of a new car club and thank you all for welcoming me.
Thanks, Ben

Welcome. I assume you'll be modding the new toy?

We don't call it "modding" here at the shop, more like "exploring it's potential"!, but yes, we have already removed the TV sized box called the resonator and installed a set of Megan cat delete pipes that we had in storage.
Our future plans for it include an EMS, some suspension goodies and a custom turbo kit (ssssshhhhh!!!!). For those of you who are familiar with our shop, you can probably guess what our turbo plans are.
I would be satisfied in the 400hp range as a daily driver and my wife and I are planing to start a family next year so a complete motor build is a little out of the question.
We will just have to see how the economy treats us in the near future for all of these plans to come together.
Ben
