Just an 05 G35X!!! Newbee Need some help!!!

hi all, nice forum!!!

i just an 05 g35x. i want a lip kit and some nice rims to go with it. i want to also lower it but not much. i want to go with 18's or 19's which ever one is smoother on the ride. i do want a lip kit for it, so if someone is selling one that will fit my car or know where i can get one let me know. and if someone is getting rid of their rims (oem or aftermarket) let me know also. what's a good spring to slap on the x and how is the ride. all help is apprecaited.

thanks in advance,
hk

You probably shouldn't have gotten the X then if you wanted to lower your car for a reasonable price.

My strongest advice.... go slow and be deliberate in your mod choices. You've got a beautiful car so look carefully at which mods make it look better and which ones may detract from it, and which one's actually add value.

Overall, may of the mods are superfluous, impractical and detracting: some are descent or even very attractive and do add appeal. Too many guys have this love-thingee with their G, as if it was a collector's item or huge investment that somehow was a reflection of a fragile ego.

Mod kits

I also have an "x" ('04) that I am itching to mod. I wouldn't mind a sublte drop but would definely like to go to 18-19" summer rubber. I have a K&N typhone CAI so my next priority is really a plenum spacer and exaust, which trying to decide is "exausting" me. If you have a good ideas you could share with me I would really apprecate it. Thanks
