How can i tell if my car has Sat radio??
Had my new G35x for a day now. Enjoying learning about all the toys it has. It has every option available that I know of so far.
Was reading up on Sat radio. No idea if the previous owner sprung for it. How can i tell if the optional sat receiver unit was added on?
If it is, i'd like to get it going as I had Sirrius in my old car and cancelled before i traded it in.

Scroll through the radio sources, if it has XM it will say XM1 and XM2, or SAT1 SAT2. Also the factory antenna is on the end of the roof above the rear window. You can add factory sat radio by just purchasing the module from a dealer or online. Its plug and play i believe.

Lol, i read the line before i scrolled down and saw the dish.
I don't really want to add it, but just trying to figure out what features my car has. I'll go out right now to see if it has the antenna. If not, then that settles it

i wana get a sat radio too but i want the antenna to be the shark tail like the bmw in the same color as my car...
