what mods did you have on yours?
mine was pretty quick since i blew the tranny up i had the new 2008 rx8 trans put in and an aftermarket intake setup which made it really loud and could breath very well. was going to get the peitit racing stage 3 supercharger but funds went down just had a son in october and mind im only 19 so im a little broke now..ha

Congrats on the son. Yeah I had a few different set-ups on the RX-8.
-Revi intake
-turboXS cat back
-Race pipe / Also had a HFC
-CZ piggyback
-flywheel
-plus all kinds of exterior mods

I basically did all the NA mods. FI just seems to gettoo messy unless you really know what your doing. The G35 i have put on the plenum spacer, z-tube, and coupe middy. Funny thing is I spent about 3G's on the 8 to get about 15hp and about $350 on the G to get about the same. Gotta hate the bang for your buck on the rotary.
