Tail light problem: vid inside

I have no idea what's going on with my tail lights, but it just randomly started happening like a month ago. My turning signals work normal on my headlights, but on my tails, whether I choose left or right, they both blink at the same time. Yet when I put on the hazards, nothing blinks! Also, at some point I have my tail lights blinking instead of the turning signals, I HAD to take a video of this:

What could it be? Is it possible that a fuse or two can cause this?

Try swapping out your hazard button. I know on my previous Maxima that if the hazard button was not connected, no turn signals would work. So try that first...

I'll try that, but the button works because they light up on the dash and in my headlights, just not the tails.

Do you have an aftermarket alarm? Have you done anything to change the operation of any lights on the car? Are you sure all turn signals are operational and not burned out?

Yes I have an aftermarket alarm, but I haven't changed anything in a long time, and this just happened randomly. I thought it might be burnt out bulbs but they all light up fine, so I don't see how that could be it.

if there is voltage fluctuation the BCM freaks out and does weird things... caused me fits when I did my taillight mod. I'd take it to an auto electrical guy and have him meter the signal going to those LEDs including brake signal.

BTW, Dave - LEDs don’t burn out for loooooonnnnnngggggg time. Usually its gonna be a voltage issue.

I was referring to the rear turn signals. They're not LEDs, right?

Aftermarket alarms have a nasty history on late model Nissans and Infinitis when it comes to lighting.

yes and no... no for most ppl, but yes for me

anyway, I was responding based on his taillight issue - as seen in the vid he posted.

Funny enough his "problem" took me a lot of time, money and effort to make happen on purpose

As for the OEM blinker bulb burning out - it wouldn't create the issues he's having - it would just not blink exterior and hyper flash in the dash (like all cars).

He had his alarm since the day he got the car, this problem only occurred aout a month ago like he stated.

No he doesn't, but his corner lights are deleted so he has the wires for them just hanging exposed behind the bumper, maybe that somehow caused this problem? corrosion?
