Im thinking of getting a set of new rims, 19 or 20 cant decide. But i dont want my cars 'feel' to be rough in any way, will this change it in any way? Also note i will be dropping it.

I think 19's "look" proportional. 20's just seem a touch to big unless the right wheel is chosen. The bigger the rim, the less sidewall and more bumps you would feel - another reason i'd chose 19" over 20"

I plan on putting OEM 19's on my sedan this spring/summer

 

19's are more ideal for daily driving than 20's, although tires for 19's are quite expensive due to the odd size (versus 20's). I'm riding 19's on my G as my daily driver and commuter, and it feels great on most roads out there.

It will feel a lot more rough when you go to 19's, even more with 20's.

 

another thing: when you upsize wheels, eventually you will want to upsize brakes. nothing looks worse than big wheels with tiny brake rotors behind them. i always ridicule Escalade/Navigator etc. owners who slap 22's+ without upgrading their brakes.

 

Or a car with huge open spoke wheels and drum brakes in the rear!

I felt that way about my stock brakes and my wheels. Hell I feel that way about my 14" 4-pot rears. I regret not getting the 15" all the time!
