Hi all - proud to say I'm the new owner of an '05 G35 sedan, 6MT. Car is great but it is 46K miles (still 5 mos warranty left) and I'd like to take it to a dealer to have a couple things looked at (I have the squeaky rear door that is addressed by a TSB) and make sure its all up to date on its scheduled maintenance. I live in Atlanta (in town, Inman Park area for you locals) and was wondering

1) if anyone can rec a dealer in the Atlanta area with good service practices and prices

2) any specific issues I might encounter that I should be on the lookout for?

With some warranty time left, I suggest taking the car to any Infiniti dealer to get warranty-related work done. I don't know any specific ones in Atlanta but maybe go to the Infiniti site and do a search for dealers within your area. Off the top of my head, I can suggest having your compression rods checked out (and possibly replaced since they tend to go bad after some time, thus the squeaking noise we hear when going over bumps on the road), and since you have a 6MT, there's talk of oil consumption in these cars so get the dealer to check that out too.

 

Just dont go to Roswell Infiniti I wont get into to it but lets just say steer clear they have screwed me over very badly more than once so beware!!!!!!
