Just took my car into Infiniti of Columbus for its 30,000 mile tune up. They wanted $509.00! Told them not to balance tires (no shake or pull up to 100 mph), no filter change (ordering K&N drop in filter), no in cabin air fillter change (ordering & do it myself-thanks DIY forum!), no wiper blade change (do that one myselft also), plus no extras.
Grand total after- $199.00. Only doing a LOF, tire rotation, differential oil change, coolant service, plus brakes under warranty. Is differential and coolant neccessary at 30,000 miles-My book is in the car.

What are your experiences?

Ouch, I need to get mine done soon but I am going to wait a bit. I have generally done all services early but now I think I will wait a bit.

Under "2000 and Later Vehicles" you click on "View Owner Manuals" and you can grab the main and Navigation manuals for several models.

 

Yes, according the manual at 30K you should replace your auto or manual tranny fluid, coolant, and differential fluid. I would even bleed your brakes as well although it isn't listed under the manual.

from experience the differential and tranny need new fluid at 30k, my fluid looked very bad when it came out of the diff and well used when it came out of my tranny.
