lights are all good!
ok, so today my shifter bulb came in.. the p/r/n/d lights.. its one bulb the size of a tic tac at $12.. i lifted the area around the shifter and when i looked where the bulb went, there was no bulb at all in there. it wasnt that hard just one lil bulb.. no i have light!! lol. and my sidemarker bulbs were both out, not the fuse. just put my lil accomplishment out there =)
^ Congrats! And it's weird how there's no bulb under the shifter console (maybe the old bulb fell out from its socket?). G/L in replacing your side marker bulbs. Just follow the pictorials on bulb removal illustrated in your owner's manual, and you should be OK.
those small bulbs are very fragile and like to slip out of the socket. I lifted up my shifter console a while ago to fix some creaking noises but while doing so I must have jolted the bulb. The bulb is a #74 but the base of the bulb seems to be slightly different between manufacturers. The first ones I bought, sylvania #74, the base was too short and would not wedge down far enough in the socket to make contact. I then purchased a philips #74 which had a better fit. They were only a couple bucks too.
