Why do People Do It?!
Re: Why do People Do It?!
Sorry bout that man. When I had my 2002 330i sedan, someone keyed the whole trunklid around the drivers side and finally stopped at the headlight. Almost $1000 to fix. I feel for ya man!
Re: Why do People Do It?!
Not to make light of the situation but it's kind of like that commercial on TV now, where a car is parked in a viturally empty parking lot with no cars parked anywhere near it, and someone drives up in a beat up "80's" LTD or Grand Marquis. The driver of this old Ford/Mercury actually passes the car, then backs up and parks what seems to be an inch away from the drivers door of the parked car. That is reality people do stupid and inconsiderate things.
I had a person swoop in on a parking spot that I was patiently waiting for. I was idling in front of the spot about 3 minutes prior to this idiot pulling up in his Ford Taurus Wagon. My signal was on and it was obviously clear that I was waiting for the person to pull out of the parking space. As soon as the car finally pulls out of the parking spot, this guy pulls in the space, and hops out. Then he acts like he didn't see me (looks straight ahead) I had to call him out then he comes over and tries to act obnoxious and indignant. My blood is boiling now -rather than hopping out and throwing a quick combination to his body and face I refrained. Took a deep breath - he walks off. I go to my trunk (not for what you think) and grab my trusty bottle of professional grade (blue) tire dressing - the kind auto detailers use. I happen to notice his drivers window was slightly down. I made sure his front window, drivers side window and driver seat where all nice and shiny. Oh the stuff is non-toxic by the way. He will have a nice time cleaning the stuff off (won't do any permanent damage), hell he couldn't even sit down without cleaning the seat first our risk having a grease stain on his khakis. Normally I wouldn't do something like that but perhaps he will think before being an idiot to the next person. - sorry for the long post.
