Please reply bout a bulb
I have an 03' without HID composite.. i am lookint o changing the low beams... I spoke to my service dept. and they said that i should not do it becasue it will burn the harness. then the next guy there told meyou cant ry but check up on it every week wihich i truly dont want to do..
The bbulbs are Street Glow 55w H1's and that is what the low beam uses. One question.. can i switch them.. and the next question is why would it burn the harness if its the same wattage,, Please reply i would like to get this done.. thnakss

If they are the same wattage, I don't think they should be a problem. BTW, Sylvania SilverStars now come as an H1.

I have an 03 sedan with out HID, and I have gone with the PIAA H1 Xtreme white (55w). I have had them for about 3 months now with out any issues. Not sure why they would tell you it would fry the harness??

Re: Please reply bout a bulb
the only way a blub can fry the harness is if the bulb is above standared wattage...your best bet is to spend about 300-400 on a plug-n-play hid kit.hyper white headlights are so 3 years ago...go with an hid kit trust me.
