I don't really care about weight. Iwould want a new car that can keep my butt toasty warm as i sip my coffee sitting in traffic commuting my 50 miles to work every day.

Weight is low on my list of vehicle requirements. I would buy a new G37 sedan without any hesitation even if it weighed 4000 pounds. I don't drive around racing people every second of the day.

To be honest, i'm not a fan of either of the 2nd gen G35's. The 05-06 sedan is my fave body style which is why i bought one, and i think the 03-07 coupe looks far better than the G37 coupe. I'm up in the air on the interiors, i kinda like the 05-06 interior the best as well.

I would still buy an 07+ though without complaint. I'm sure i would grow to love it....although i've been thinking of an M35x or M45x as my next Infiniti in a few years

You think the Sedan is lighter than a Z, huh? 2003 Base Z curb weight is 3188....

My 2003 Sedan weighs in at just a few pounds less than an 06 Z.

People never believe me that the sedan is lighter than the coupe. They are like, no way, it has 2 more doors.

I enjoy both. They are both good cars. But right now, you can get an 05 sedan in the teens with not many miles. Vs a 40k G37. With 20K+ in mods to an 05 Sedan, you will leave the G37 so far behind you wont even see it..
There you have it folks, waste 20K+ just to beat up on newer model sedan. That just doesn't make since to me, with enough money most $hit boxes can be made faster than a lot of cars...not saying that the 1st Gen Sedan is a $hit box of course!
