How do i stop the doors from locking when the car is on?

Funny story, for everyone but me.
Let me start out by stating that I live in Ohio and it was warm enough (50F) to wash my car the day before all this happened.
So, yesterday I went outside to warm up my car before work (it was 5 degrees out). I shut my door, with the car running and when I came back out(2 minutes later), the door was locked. So, I went inside to get an extra key and came back out and the keylock wouldn't turn. I had just bought the car 2 weeks ago and remembered that I didn't check to see if the keylock on the door worked. So I had to call AAA to unlock my door from my running car which was rather embarassing.
One hour later the AAA guy shows up (laughing at me) and unlocks my car, of which I immediately jump in and speed to work. After I get to work, I decide to check one last time and see if the key would work. It did . After hours of pondering, I figured out that my locks were frozen from the wash the day before and must have thawed out on the way to work.
Moral of the story - I'm riding dirty from here on out.
Basically, any info on this subject would be greatly appreciated and hopefully help prevent me from making an a$$ of myself.......again.

i'm with 6MT, a stock g35 will not auto lock doors, KP module is pretty rare to find one cars at the dealership so chances are that you have a alarm of sometype.
Me i can never lock myself out, because i have the prem model where i can just hit the door button to unlock if the keys are inside or whatever.

I'm not aware of any self locking function on our cars, especially the first gens. Mine does not self lock and if there is a dealer setting, I wouldn't want it endabled.
I have, however, been locked out of my car twice because the car self locked, somehow. I tend to think that the interior manual lock (by the handle) or the power lock switch on the driver's door were mid switch and the impact of the door closing caused the switch to flip and lock me out.
Once I just hopped out of my car at a car wash, gave the attendant my order, and was about to walk into the building when the guys asks me where my keys are. I tell him they're in the ignition, but we quickly discovered all doors were locked. I started carrying my valet key after that. The second time, same thing but in my driveway.
I even inquired with the dealer about a possible faulty switch but he said everything checked out okay. It's only happened twice since I've owned the car, so it's really not a huge deal, but kind of weird.
Maybe you're experiencing something similar.

I have 03 Sedan 5AT and it does the same thing, with keys in the car it will lock after 3min. i have searched and tried to solve this but no luck. Only module I have is the KP winow roll up module. I dont know if that is the suspect for this since I know now of others that this happened to.
