Mystery Metal Plate Found Under G35x

Does anyone know what this part is and where it came from?
I found it on my garage floor, under my G35x.
Looks like there were two small tack weld at both end (circle in red). One rusted away, which cause the other to break off over time and vibration. The part is 1/4" thick, 3-3/8" wide and 1-3/4" tall.
Hope it is not a critical part.

Thanks in advance.

Hmm, I noticed something like this was under my car after I backed it out of the garage (this was a while back). I couldn't figure out what it was for either.

Looks like a piece of the weight hanging from the rear of the transmission.

That's right, it came off the trans weight balancer doesn't need to be there thingy. We remove these at the shop all the time because they obviously fall off over time.
