Personally, i'd just remove the INFINITI wording on the rear and call it a day. I hate washing between the individual letters and it's a PITA to get in between.

I've been debating removing G35x. I kinda want people to know it's an AWD model, but then again up here in MA, pretty much every G35 sedan on the road is AWD. I'd say 19 out of every 20 G35 sedans i see is an X.

just debadge the trunk completely. weld and sand then repaint the holes from the inf. logo change your front grill to a billett one and then your exterior will have no sign of infiniti! Then you can get a nissan logo & a 350gt badge as you wish! but guess what. YOUR STEERING WHEEL will always say infiniti and so will the seats and the engine and the door jambs and.....

get it?

if you want a skyline... just buy one.

I have never bought a car i didnt want so that i could spend money making a replica of something else just to pretend it was something i wanted... you either have an infiniti g35 or you dont.

I think since actual SKYLINE GTRs kick so much ***. people want to emulate them and think putting a skyline badge on their ride will make people think its cooler. its not. its just an infiniti g35. it will never be a skyline GTR. sorry.

Having said that, im glad you asked before just slapping something on your car and not having a clue. Reps for that. Also, In my opinion just remove the letters infiniti and the g35 lettes and leave it. it looks pretty clean that way. thats what i did...

I agree with you. I know its technically a "skyline"... but we are not in Japan, and the car didnt come from the JDM. It will never be a skyline, no matter how many stickers you put on it, it will always be a g35.

Unless you plan on making it right side drive as well...

and the shiftgate and the emissions system and the entire interior and the radio and the nav and the exhaust and the ecu, im tired so ill stop. good night.

the only DIFF between the 2 are mainly cosmetic not perf, or ECU related maybe for sedan but not for coupe...and RHD doesnt make it a skyline its just what MOST have...mainly ppl who complain about it are other G owners i love getting stares from other G owners then i rev it up and they sit a little lower in there seat cuz there G is stock

To be honest, seeing a G35 on the street rebadged as a skyline doesn't really mean anything to me. I've seen some and thought to myself "Oh hey look, he put the skyline emblems on the car" But that's about it. I don't really get envious. 95% of the driving public won't even know the difference if we park our cars next to each other.

I remember when i owned a Mustang CObra people used to think I had the same car as some 16-year old in a V6. Badges mean nothing really..it's just an emblem.

If you like the Skyline stuff, put it on. Don't worry about what others think because even if it's an infiniti, it is techically a Skyline since there is Nissan stuff and logos on all the parts when you look closely. It honestly shouldn't be that big of a deal.

I wouldn't mind putting skyline logos on the rear, but it's just simply not that important enough to me to care. Plus my car is stock and i have no intention of modding it so it's kinda silly to change the badge in that case.

But to each his own. Everyone is gonna have their own opinion on the matter.

how can they not see the BIG *** writing of COBRA on the rear bumper. its like they made it on purpose so you know its on.

G35 sedan blends in like the general public looks at it like a typical accord/camry out there. which really is it. mid-size sedans, sold plenty of. put a civic emblem on and i'm sure 90% of the people will not notice.

This reminds me of when I owned a 97 Cobra and my son had a 96 silver V6 mustang. The front end got damaged, so we had a Cobra R hood, Cobra front bumper and Cobra emblems on the fenders. It did look good!!!!

I'm pretty much like you on the Skyline rebadge. Like it, but not enough to do it.......yet...maybe I'll do the coupe, but have other > priorities right now.

SO there is the 250GT, the 300GT, the 350GT and the 350GT-8

Personally i'd just take off G35 and call it a day. Nobody really cares that the car is called a 350GT in Japan other than hardcore JDM wanna-bes and Japanese tourists.

If i put 350GT emblems on my G, then i guess i should put Camry emblems on my girl's IS250 too huh? Maybe i'll even spring for the Type S emblem!

Actually it should say "Altezza" for the IS... Camry if FWD while IS is RWD so they are not the same
