Might part out car- suggestions on what I might be able to get for parts...

First off, I've been using the search function, but many of the parts on my car haven't been sold recently. I'm curious as to what I might be able to reasonably ask for some of the parts on my car. Any help is appreciated.

The parts are off an 03 sedan- 52k miles, doesn't get driven much. Parts are all less than 15k miles of use.

- Volk SF-Winning Mercury Silver 19x8.0 +42, 19x8.5 +48, Toyo T1-S, quite worn, less than 500 miles of tire life left, wheels in good condition, no curb rash or damage.

- Nismo aerokit, white, excellent condition, would be asking for $ and stock pieces.

- Tokico D-spec shocks, 350z version.

- RSR Ti2000 springs, 350z version.

- Tein H.Tech, G35 sedan version.

- Hotchkis antiroll bars.

- Stoptech drilled rotors, Nismo S-tune pads, Stoptech SS lines, all in good condition, pads have less than 1000 miles on them, would look to swap for stock pieces in good condition.

- Blitz metal intake, 350z intake tube.

- Jim wolf pop charger, new except for ram-air piping and heatshield used.

- 350evo throttle body.

- Crawford plenum v.5, black.

- LW crank pulley (unorthodox? can't remember what brand)

- Xerd long-tube headers.

- Greddy exhaust, y-pipe- back.

- Sparco Speed bucket seats, jacquard, black, sparco sliders, seat brackets (fit sedan, coupe, or Z)

- Apex'i RSM, shift light, mounting bracket

- Ignited pushbutton starter, CF switches (3), mounting plate [all new]

- HKS grounding kits X 2, mostly new.

- Stereo: would probably sell together, Alpine CVA-1005 screen, 6 disc MP3 changer, Alpine V12 amps, 55x4 rms, 300x1 rms, Mb quart reference components 6.5", Mb quart coaxials 5.25", Alpine Type-R DVC 12" in Q-logic box, all wiring.

Thanks for the help!

Post up in the marketplace.

YOu don't have a lot of posts here on driver so a lot of people might feel sketchy about doing business with you.

19 posts...

A lot of people will be hesitant to deal with you, so you should as said above make the prices you want for the items, post pictures of them (with date), and maybe show that you have a legit eBay/Paypal account, something like that would help.

BTW, you can find pricing for similar items in the marketplace pretty easily. Price them close to what other people sell theirs for.

Honestly? If you don't want to be lowballed to hell, you probably need to come up with pricing on your own. Basic logic tells me if I want your wheels/tires, I'm not going to suggest you ask a high selling price.

But in general, you will probably end up getting 60-70% return on what you paid.

Thanks for the responses and interest.. I'll be in Asia for a while, so its still up in the air as to when I'll be able to get all the parts off my car.

I understand some people might be hesitant to do business with someone with so few posts, however, I typically just go on forums to read other peoples' opinions, and I usually was over at my350z. Nevertheless, I'll do my best to make it to a So-Cal G35 meet so some forum members can put a face to my name, and hopefully make me a little more reputable.

I'm located in Los Angeles near the Valley, just a little bit past Calabasas. Thats about 40 min from Santa Monica or downtown LA.

Anyway, here are a few pics of my car so you can atleast see the parts exist- the car hasn't been driven much, I got a new car about 2 years ago, but since I had the garage space I never got rid of the G, its kind of like a child to me..

Does anyone have an opinion as to whether or not I should just sell the car as it is? or part out and then sell? Unless I could realistically get 2-3k more by parting out, it doesn't make that much sense to take the time to do it.
