When you say "spanked?" Did he just run away from you, or just stayed a few car lengths head? Stock S4 is 250HP, so with a exhaust and chip - he may have 300HP!!!

So at 120, how many car lengths was he ahead?

Not suprised, I know of many S4's old body style with over 500 HP with simple turbo intercooler ugrade with chip and exhaust. Chip and exhaust easily gets you over 50HP being less than generous, AWEtuning claims 50HP and Torque just from the chip itself!! They are monsters...

That's not too bad! It's an S4: a car about $10 grand more than the G35 so I guess it's ok to get spanked by a more expensive car. At least you didn't came on here and said that you got beaten by a Civic, that would be terrible.

 

Infinitig20: Stock Civic yes. But, there are many Civics out there that are running NOS. So beware!!!!

They cost $10k more new, but you can pick up a 2000 in good shape in the low $20s. I've seen a few nice ones around the city. The S4 (older style) is one of the few other four doors that I'd consider besides the G that's in the same price range. Nice cars, gotta love the suede seats!
