so i was on the computer and i hear this bang...didnt think much just another accident, but as i was walking out side i see and hear this car with its hood smashed in take off so i jump in the A4 and go after it. Got the plate number and description of the driver and called 911 went back to the scene and gave my info to the owner of the car that got hit. I didnt the right thing and got involved right?

I actually have had one of my cars hit and run, years ago, and someone had left a note on my car with the details and his number to call if I wanted to go with me to the police station as a witness. Which we did and this led to the arrest of a driver with a suspended license.
