If I had to add just one mod for > HP...
Hi all,
Not that I plan on doing this soon, my question to the group is as follows...
If I had to add just one mod to my G MT Sedan to boost horsepower, what option would be the best value for money and how much HP would the mod add? If you could list the option and the approximate price that would be appreciated.
Also, since my car is new (2 days old now), when could I add the desired mod?
Thanks for the input.

Well price makes all the difference.
You can add a Stillen Air Box or PopCharger and a Z tube now. Should end up costing no more than $200-300 and is easy to do yourself. Also gives the G a nice growl.
Or you could be crazy like gurgenpb and get a Twin Turbo installed for maximum HP! Should cost no more than several thousand dollars.
Actually, I thought I saw where he was selling his old popcharger, maybe you could pick that up from him if it hasn't already been sold.

Another "big bang for your buck" option is to keep your stock airbox, and just switch out your stock air tube for the Z tube and a K&N drop-in air filter...very easy to install, adds HP, improves sound (really nice sound WOT above 3,500 rpm), and together, about $128 brand new shipped. ;-)
