As for "bloated" I disagree... I think the coupe looks pudgy, but the sedan looks sleek and stylish to me.

I don’t know what Crown Vics you've been driving, but the G is nothing like it... however, the 07 sedan I drove had a useless screen - the contrast could not be set high enough to see the thing in the day time.

Honestly I think anyone that drives an 07+ and a pre-07 would be less that truthful if they said the 07 is not superior.

And of course I have an 04... take your bias out of the equation and I'm sure you would see the truth. The current sedan is the only one that I would even consider trading for (and I did for a minute)... I'm so far into modding this car that I'm not gonna trade until I finish the ideas I have.

If/when its time for another car - if I stay with a Nissan it will be the 370 (or 390)Z... unless Infiniti finally releases a turbo G. Otherwise its gonna be a muscle car.

Anyway - 07+ are overall a better car than pre-07 and anyone with an once of ability to evaluate a car would agree.
I never said it was NOT a better car. Ok, so crown vic was a bit much. I'm simply saying that it is getting bloated imo. I too agree that a twin-turbo g37X or a 370z is where its at. I think I'll drive my car for a few more years and get a 4 yr old c6 z06 with 25kmi from some old dude that never drove over 72 mph. If not, I guess a g37x cpe would be nice. Or an ISF, M3 cpe or sedan?

I like the look of Dave B's car.

In my case, I really like how the the door trim, handles, and bright-finish on the cpe 19s work together or compliment each other........

If I did blk it out, I would have to do the handles, and the grill and debadge the rear and I just don't have the energy........

I left the handles chrome to give the car a sportier look without taking away too much class... I've been wanting to take the emblem off my grill and paint it a better black chrome, but I'm just too lazy for all of that.

There is a lot of cool shiit I want to do with my car, but I don't want the hassle or expense........halos, double din, brake kit, single turbo, g37 interior swap........

I debate with myself constantly about the window trim on my G. Most of the time I like it all blacked out, then sometimes I see a G like yours or a BMW/Benz that that the chrome window trim and think how classy it looks. IMO, black out the door handles with some 1.5" black electrical tape. It takes all of 15 minutes to do and the only person that would know that it's tape would be you. You'll like it and it lasts without fraying, fading, etc.

I feel exactly like you do...I kinda like the Chrome trim.

05/06 > 03/04 though....

OK fine, they're both hot.

Am I the only one that prefers the 03-04 hoods? I think they look better than the plain jane hood the 05-06 have.

I am the opposite. I have always thought the sedans were hideous, especially the first gen. The new ones actually are not too bad, especially when you consider the interior and power.

I prefer the early hoods as well, the lines make it look more aggressive.

G35freak86: Did you find an M3 yet?
